JFK Communications Raises $7,000 for the Central and South Jersey Chapter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation
Princeton-based PR Agency Exceeds its 2009 Fundraising Goal
Princeton, N.J.
November 06, 2009 — JFK Communications, Inc., a Princeton-based healthcare
public relations agency, raises $7,000 for the Central and South Jersey
affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Sara L. Kouten, Chief Financial Officer, JFK Communications,
is not only the team captain for JFK, but she is also a breast cancer survivor.
“I would personally like to thank all of our supporters,
runners and donors,” said Sara. “I am very happy to report that I remain cancer
free and that your encouragement, prayers and well wishes have meant the world
to me. I am humbled by my ability to give back to the breast cancer
community, especially those women that are triple-negative and BRCA1 positive.”
Sara is also a very active supporter of the Triple Negative Breast Cancer
Foundation (www.tnbcfoundation.org).
Through the leadership of Harvey Rich, CEO, Harvey Rich
& Associates, JFK Communications received a generous $5,000 donation from
the Blanche and Irving Laurie Foundation enabling JFK Communications to exceed its
fundraising goals. Mr. Rich is a
trustee for the Laurie Foundation and a local entrepreneur and
philanthropist.
