JFK Communications, Inc. Welcomes New Account Supervisor and Account Executive
Princeton-based Healthcare Public Relations Firm Continues
to Grow its Staff in Second Half of 2008
Princeton, NJ, October 15, 2008 — JFK Communications, Inc., a Princeton-based healthcare public relations firm, is proud to announce the hiring of a new account supervisor and account executive: Melissa Lauer and Christina Liotti, respectively.
Lauer brings to JFK Communications her experience in oncology and women’s and respiratory health. She will manage key pharmaceutical and medical technology accounts including Fujirebio Diagnostics, Inc., TopoTarget USA, Inc., Taiho Pharma U.S.A., Inc. and Aerocrine, Inc.
Prior to joining JFK Communications, Lauer worked at Ruder Finn in New York City, where she played a key role in supporting public relations programs for leading pharmaceutical clients including Novartis Oncology, Bristol-Myers Squibb and AstraZeneca. Previously, she worked at DeVries Public Relations, where she supported programs for GlaxoSmithKline's Advair® and an investigational product for Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals. As part of these account teams, Lauer supported regulatory milestones, publications, key physician partnerships, spokesperson development, and medical meetings. She has also worked closely with non-profit healthcare facilities.
Lauer holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.
Liotti brings JFK Communications experience in weight loss management, having supported the only FDA approved, over-the-counter weight loss product. She will support key accounts including Aerocrine, TopoTarget USA, Inc. and Taiho Pharma U.S.A., Inc. Prior to joining JFK Communications, Liotti spent over a year at HealthStar Public Relations where she played a key role in account management, third party advocacy support, press material development and media relations. She has worked with clients including GlaxoSmithKline, Merck, Solvay and Alpharma.
Liotti graduated from Pace University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Public Accounting.
