With more than a decade of life science-focused  experience, David Patti’s passion is translating the science of medicine into clear, compelling communications that help clients educate and drive change among key target audiences, including healthcare providers, caregivers and patients.

In his role as Vice President at JFK Communications, David oversees client service operations, provides strategic counsel, and leads teams on major JFK accounts. Prior to joining JFK, David led numerous patient and physician-focused public relations campaigns for global biotech, medical device and pharmaceutical companies across multiple therapeutic areas, including cardiology, oncology, infectious disease, dermatology and allergy/asthma.  His experience encompasses a wide range of communications disciplines from media relations and clinical data communications to pre-and-post launch FDA approval support, issues management and patient advocacy relations.

Among his accomplishments, David led eight FDA approval launches and executed more than two dozen awareness campaigns from specialty pharma to lifestyle therapies. David oversaw worldwide and U.S. public relations activities for Pfizer’s lead oncology therapy; managed the market introduction of Eisai Pharmaceutical’s anticoagulant in its new oncology indication; and launched Alexion Pharmaceutical’s first drug for a rare blood disorder.

David received his Bachelor of Arts in media communications from Hunter College, City University of New York.
