
David Patti
Vice President
With more than a decade of life science-focused experience, David Patti’s passion is
translating the science of medicine into clear, compelling communications that
help clients educate and drive change among key target audiences, including
healthcare providers, caregivers and patients.
In his role as Vice President at JFK Communications, David oversees
client service operations, provides strategic counsel, and leads teams on major
JFK accounts. Prior to joining JFK, David led numerous patient and physician-focused
public relations campaigns for global biotech, medical device and pharmaceutical
companies across multiple therapeutic areas, including cardiology, oncology,
infectious disease, dermatology and allergy/asthma. His experience encompasses a wide range of communications
disciplines from media relations and clinical data communications to
pre-and-post launch FDA approval support, issues management and patient
advocacy relations.
Among his accomplishments, David led eight FDA approval
launches and executed more than two dozen awareness campaigns from specialty
pharma to lifestyle therapies. David oversaw worldwide and U.S. public
relations activities for Pfizer’s lead oncology therapy; managed the market
introduction of Eisai Pharmaceutical’s anticoagulant in its new oncology
indication; and launched Alexion Pharmaceutical’s first drug for a rare blood
disorder.
David has also worked extensively with professional and
patient advocacy organizations – including the Breast Cancer International
Research Group, American Stroke Association/American Heart Association, the
American Counseling Association and the American Association of Diabetes
Educators – to develop education based initiatives about diseases and treatment
options.
David received his Bachelor of Arts in media communications
from Hunter College, City University of New York.
